The Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation invites you to attend a workshop for Local Historic District & Local Historic Property Commissions and Certified Local Governments

Time: 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

Discussion will focus on:

Modern (substitute) building materials- including a display of manufacturer's samples.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 

Plus any questions regarding the database of historic districts and properties in Connecticut, discussion of residential property values in historic districts, current issues and policies, basic legal and regulatory frameworks for LHDs and CLGS, grant programs and other sources of funding. 

The Handbook for Historic District Commissions and Historic Property Commissions and Connecticut Local Historic Districts and Property Values will be distributed. 

A light supper will be provided.
