Enter a magnificent English style Arts and Crafts suburban villa built in 1914 for Elizabeth R. Hooker, a leader in progressive movements in the early 20th century such as women's rights, public health care and historic preservation.
 
The house, designed by Delano & Aldrich, leading architects of their time, has been little altered in the last 90 years.  It has been lovingly restored and takes its place as a proud residence in a historic part of New Haven.
