Bristol municipal officials have long identified the J. H. Sessions & Sons factory on Riverside Drive as an iconic structure in its downtown and a key redevelopment opportunity. The town is now actively seeking developer proposals, due by September 5. The 1906 stone and brick complex retains its original character. It  may be eligible for National Register listing, and therefore state and federal historic tax credits. In addition, the property is located in an Opportunity Zone which could increase the amount of the state historic tax credit.
